GAMEPHASE 2 - OFFENSIVE
By 'offence' we mean playing with the ball. It is the phase in which we keep the ball in our own possession and try to create scoring opportunities.
For the "Offensive" phase of the game,
we stick to the following principles:
we stick to the following principles:
DEVELOP A CLEAR GAME IDEA
When playing with the ball, we develop specific, workable solution options for crucial situations that all players are familiar with.
Situations in which we come under pressure with the ball are particularly important, whether in the build-up play or deep in the opponent's zone.
The player knows his options and chooses the right one thanks to good decision-making behaviour.
Clear playing ideas are also important in Standard-Situations and Special teams.
MOVEMENT WITH TIMING
We interpret our basic line-up as flexible and agile. Players who are too static are predictable. Players who are constantly on the move are almost impossible to pass to.
By moving intelligently within the basic organisation, we play out overpaying situations and open up spaces for teammates.
The right timing of movement is crucial here. We prioritise our presence in front of the opponent's goal (slot), as this is the zone from which most goals are scored.
EFFEKTIVE VARIATIONS OF PASSING- & RUNNINGGAMES
We generate our finishing opportunities through flexible offensive play. By effectively varying our passing and running game and changing tempo, our offence is difficult to predict.
The top quality criterion for our attacking play is speed. We achieve speed through quick decisions, sharp, precise passing and running at high speed.
Our attacking play is effective when we play quickly, with variety and pressure. Every player on the pitch has a task to fulfil at all times (player roles concept).
THINK GOAL!
With the guiding principle "think goal!", we anchor the philosophy that every offensive action should ultimately lead to a successful goal.
An unconditional will to score the goal, coupled with outstanding shooting quality, are the main characteristics of this playing principle.
We promote players who consistently and purposefully seek to score goals.
This does not automatically mean that we immediately look for the goal every time, because the goal should not be used as a solution to a problem.
